Tour Program

On the way to Gobustan, you will see whole jungle of oil rigs, which provided the USSR with black gold for more than 70 years. This is the district of Baku where the scene of the nineteenth film of the bondiana "The world is not enough" was shot. This is the very scene where Bond first appears in Azerbaijan and drives his BMW Z8 near the oil rigs in the village of Bibi-Heybat. The large oil pipeline being built in the film, which is being laid to deliver Caspian oil to the West - through Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey, actually exists.
The first stop of the tour will be the Gobustan National Reserve, famous for its rocky landscapes, where the stories told by our professional guides will take you to thousands of years ago. During the tour you will have the opportunity to visit the Gobustan National Museum and see the unique exhibits that have reached us through the millennium of history.
After visiting the indoor museum, you will be taken to the open-air museum, where with your professional guide you will discover the mysterious world of petroglyphs - rock paintings and inscriptions of both ancient people and legionaries of the Roman emperor Domitian.
In good weather conditions, this package also includes an exciting trip to the mud volcanoes. More than 300 out of 700 mud volcanoes, which by origin are associated with oil and gas fields, are located in the Republic of Azerbaijan. In areas of mud volcanoes, you can see gas condensate and oil fields.
On the way back, you can also see the Bibi-Heybat mosque, built by Shirvanshah Abu-l-Fath Farrukhzad in the 13th century. The interior amazing with its colorfulness and the majestically stretching up the facade is not all! Visiting this beautiful monument of architecture, you can also admire views of the Caspian Sea and high cranes of the cargo port located nearby.
Afterwards you will have lunch in the picturesque Old Garden restaurant in the Old Town, which includes green qutab, meat qutab, assorted lamb, lula, chicken, vegetables, pilaf, choban salad, soft drinks.
The first stop on the tour is one of the most visited historical sites of Baku, Atashgah, also called the Temple of Fire. This sanctuary of eternal fire was built in the 17th century on the site of the oldest temple of Zoroastrians. For two centuries it was a place of pilgrimage for Hindus, Sikhs and other representatives of exotic Eastern cults. Ancient exhibits, located in the cells of Hindu and Zoroastrian hermits, will tell you how these ancient world religions were practiced.

In addition, visiting the temple, you will see the famous guest house, where the “father of the three musketeers” Alexander Dumas, the great Russian chemist Mendeleev, and also such famous artists as Vasily Vereshchagin and Grigory Gagarin stayed.
The next stop on the tour will be Yanardag - Burning Mountain. The eternal natural fire, flashing from the depths of the mountain over millions of years, is a unique natural phenomenon. The fiery line surrounding the foot of the hill will give the impression of a land of fire and leave unforgettable memories of the tour.
