Tour Program

On the first day of your tour in Baku, our professional team will meet you at the airport with a sign with your name on it and take you to your hotel.
On the second day of the tour, you will visit the Diri Baba Mausoleum, built into the rock at the beginning of the 15th century, which will amaze you not only with its facade and interior, but also with mystical stories that your professional guide will tell you. Then you will travel to the city of Shemakha to visit the oldest mosque in the Caucasus, built by the Abbasite dynasty in the 8th century to spread Islam on these lands. After driving through the serpentines of the mountains of the Greater Caucasus, you will be taken to a restaurant located in the dense forest of the Ismayilli region, where you will have a substantial lunch from Azerbaijani national cuisine, which includes first courses, salads, mix of kebabs, local bread baked in tandir and of course samovar tea. After lunch, you will visit Nohur Lake, one of the most visited places in the region. Here you can both enjoy the view of blue-green waters and visit the local shops with Azerbaijani tea, dried fruits, spices, etc. Then you will be taken to the territory of the Tufandag ski resort, where you will be lifted by a cable car to a height of about two thousand meters above sea level, from where you will have a view of the highest peak of the Caucasus in Azerbaijan (4466 m above sea level). On the same day, our professional team will take you to a hotel in the city of Sheki, where you will spend one night, before you start the Sheki and Gakh tours.
The first part of the tour will include the attractions of the city of Sheki, which are the 17th century Sheki Khans Palace, where not a nail or glue was used when mounting its colorful and mosaic glass walls called shebeke, the Sheki caravanserai, a hotel which was built in the 17th century and is still used today as a hotel, a panoramic view of Sheki, and finally a visit to the shops of the 17th century. In the second part of the tour you will visit the historical and natural sights of Gakh - the Ulu bridge, the Sumug-gala tower, which got into the movie "Do not be afraid, I’m with you" and Ramramay waterfall, which is one of the highest waterfalls in Azerbaijan. After this unforgettable tour, you will return to the city of Sheki and spend another night at the hotel.
The next day you will have a tour to one of the most unique places in this country, to the city of Lahij, which is a historical and cultural reserve, where every house, every street is under state protection. Lahij is a real center of pottery, blacksmithing and other crafts, which still preserves all the traditions of the Middle Ages. Yes, you will find yourself in a medieval city, with narrow streets, cobbled roads and benches, where you can buy souvenirs, dishes, carpets, hats and other items made by Lahij craftsmen themselves. And the road to Lahij will present you great emotions - these are cliffs, rocks, canyons, a suspension bridge over the river - the only way to the isolated village of Zernava. After to tour to Lahij, our professional team will arrange an unforgettable picnic in the Ismayilli forest, where you can taste barbecue from local mutton, kofte, chicken, vegetables, salads and homemade wine, as well as you will have your chance to take part in the cooking process. After the picnic, you will arrive in Baku to continue the tour the next day.
On this day you will go to the tour of Guba and Shahdag. You will see the first attraction on this tour already along the road, it is called Mount Beshbarmag, which from time immemorial has been not only a sanctuary for the local population, but also served as a lighthouse for sailors floating on the waters of the Caspian Sea. In the city of Guba, you will visit the Red Village, a settlement inhabited by mountain Jews and which is also called the "Jerusalem of the Caucasus." After visiting this unique place, you will find a delicious and substantial lunch from national cuisine, which includes first courses, salads, mix of kebabs, soft drinks and, of course, tea. Then you will pass through the Gechresh forest, where it is so dark due to the density of the forest that restaurants located along the road during daylight hours never turn off the lamps. The final stop of this tour will be the Shahdag ski complex, where you can take a cable car over the majestic mountains of the Greater Caucasus in this territory and of course, go skiing if you wish! After that, you will arrive in Baku, where you will have tours in the capital of Azerbaijan and its suburbs.
On this day, you will make an unforgettable journey through modern Baku, the beautiful capital of the Caucasus. You will visit the Uphill Park, from where you will have a view of the legendary Flame Towers, the Baku bay and the entire central part of the city, the seaside boulevard and Mini Venice. You will pass by the Government House of Azerbaijan and visit the park in front of the Heydar Aliyev Center.

Later you will have lunch at the picturesque Old Garden restaurant in the Old Town. Lunch includes the national dish Saj, which is cooked on charcoal, Old Garden salad, soft drinks and tea with sweets.

After lunch, a tour of the Old Town (Icherisheher) begins. With your professional English-speaking guide and his stories, you will see such sights as the Maiden Tower, the Ruins of the chapel of St. Bartholomew, the Hammam of Haji Baani, the caravanserai of Multani and Bukhara, the house of a sailor, a house with chains, the residence of the Baku khans, the Double Gates of the Old Town, the fortress walls, a quadrangular tower, a monument to Aliaga Vahid, the Juma Mosque, the Shirvanshahs Palace.
On this day, you will go to Gobustan, a place with the famous rocky landscape. You will have the opportunity to visit the Gobustan State Museum and see the unique exhibits that have come down to us through a millennium of history. Moreover, you will discover the mysterious world of petroglyphs - rock paintings and inscriptions of both ancient people and the legionnaires of the Roman emperor Domitian. Under good weather conditions, this tour also offers you an exciting journey to mud volcanoes.

After completing the first part of this tour, you will have a lunch consisting of a set of dishes of Azerbaijani cuisine. Lunch includes meat kutab, green kutab, mix of kebabs (chicken, lamb, kofte), pilaf, choban salad, soft drinks.

Our trip will continue to the Absheron peninsula, during which you will visit the famous temple of fire worshipers - Ateshgah. Ateshgah - Temple of Fire - one of the famous places of the Absheron Peninsula, beloved by the guests of the city. The first sanctuary of eternal flame at this place was formed by fire worshipers in the 2nd century BC. In the complex you will see ancient artifacts located in the cells of Indian and Zoroastrian hermits. After, you will go to Yanardag, the only place with natural eternal flame burning for three hundred million years.
