On the second day of the tour you will go to Gobustan, a place with a spectacular rocky landscape. You will have the opportunity to visit the Gobustan State Museum and see the unique exhibits that have reached us through the millennium of history. Moreover, you will discover the mysterious world of petroglyphs - rock paintings and inscriptions of both ancient people and legionaries of the Roman emperor Domitian. With good weather conditions, this tour also offers you a fascinating journey to mud volcanoes.
After completing the first part of this excursion you will have a lunch consisting of a set of dishes of Azerbaijani cuisine. Lunch includes meat kutab, green kutab, mix of kebabs (chicken, lamb, kofte), pilaf, choban-salad, and soft drinks.
Our journey will continue with an trip to the Absheron Peninsula, during which you will visit the famous Temple of Fire - Ateshgah. The Fire Temple being one of the famous places of the Absheron Peninsula, is loved by the guests of the city. The first sanctuary of eternal fire at this place was formed by fire worshipers in the 2nd century BC. In the complex you will see ancient exhibits located in the cells of Indian and Zoroastrian hermits. After, you will go to Yanardag, the only place with a natural eternal flame that has already been burning for three hundred million years.
Before Baku Night tour you will have fantastic dinner in the restaurant which includes national dishes: "Sach", salat, soft drinks and tea.
Your professional guide will take you to a specific place in the park, where you will have the opportunity to see a unique view of the city with its beautiful luminous buildings and landmarks, as well as the Ferris Wheel, Crystal Hall and Baku Boulevard. In addition, you will have a view of buildings such as the Parliament of Azerbaijan and the Flame Towers, which are three skyscrapers that include a hotel, apartments and offices. The panels between the windows of the towers are horizontally covered with LED screens that display the movement of fire visible from the farthest points of the city. The lights create the visual effects of the torches, which emphasizes the main idea behind their name - Flaming Towers.
The next stop will be the Baku Boulevard, the waterfront park, which is considered one of the main attractions and pride of Baku. This is a magnificent 25-kilometer park with exotic trees, shopping and entertainment centers, bicycle paths, views of the European architecture of Baku in the 19th century. In addition, the park is famous for a small version of Venice. It fascinates visitors of the city and residents of Baku with its canals, bridges and gondolas.
Walking through this amazing park, you will immediately recognize one of the architectural masterpieces of the Stalin era - the Government House of Soviet Azerbaijan. It took almost 16 years to build this gigantic structure when Azerbaijan was under Soviet rule. Moreover, historical evidence shows that German prisoners of war were used to build this huge structure.
A tour of the city of Baku will end with visiting the park in front of the Heydar Aliyev Center, which is considered to be a masterpiece of modern architecture in the style of deconstructivism from the “queen of curved lines” Zahi Hadid. On its territory there is a magnificent park with green lawns and snow-white footpaths, which pass alongside original sculptures and compositions, the most famous of which is a favorite of the guests of the city I LOVE BAKU.
The next day you will start the tour, the end point of which will be a view of the highest peak of the Caucasus on the territory of Azerbaijan. An hour and a half after leaving Baku, you will reach the first stop - Juma Mosque. The first mosque in the Caucasus, located in the city of Shamakhi, built in 743 AD. This architectural monument will amaze its visitors with both its facade and interior, as well as the ruins of an ancient madrasah (the first Islamic school in the region).
Our next stop is the Zernava Suspension Bridge, located along the fascinating Girdiman River. This iconic bridge with a length of 74 meters serves as a vital lifeline, connecting two majestic mountains and providing the only connection to the mainland for the residents of the village of Juhary Zernava. This is not only an important passage for locals, but also offers an exciting experience for tourists looking for adventure, igniting their senses with a rush of adrenaline. Get ready to be enchanted by the picturesque beauty and incredible sensations that await you on the Zernava Suspension Bridge.
Then lunch will be served in a restaurant in the forest zone of the city of Ismaili. Lunch includes first courses of your choice, mix of kebabs (lamb, lula, chicken, vegetables), pilaf, choban-salad, soft drinks and finally tea prepared in a samovar.
After lunch, our professional team will take you to Lake Nohur, which will appeal to nature lovers. This lake reflects the mountains of the Greater Caucasus in its green-blue waters. Also on the territory of the lake you can visit the shops with dried fruits, pestel, honey, oriental spices and local Lankaran tea.
And finally, the last stop will be the Tufandag Ski Resort, which is located in Gabala. Here, with the help of the cable car, you will rise to the top with a height of more than 2 thousand meters, from where you will have a view of the Bazarduzu peak.
On the last day of this amazing journey, company representatives will wish you a good return home and take you to the airport.
