Shahdag Peak Hiking Tour begins with departure from Baku to Khinalyg village. We will pick you up from your hotel and drive to a magical village located in the Guba region, also called the “Village in the Clouds”.
We will travel from Khinalig to the base camp using off-road vehicles located at an elevation of 2800m above sea level. Upon arrival, we will establish a camp, enjoy our lunch, and embark on a hike to Shahdag Waterfall for acclimatization purposes. Afterward, we will return to the camp, relax in its vicinity, and spend the night in the tents.
With the dawn of a new day, we eagerly set off on our journey to the top of Shahdag, one of the highest peaks of the Greater Caucasus in Azerbaijan. The path ahead challenges us, taking us through rugged terrain and vibrant valleys adorned with wildflowers. As we ascend, the air becomes clearer, invigorating our spirits and fueling our resolve. At the top, a breathtaking panorama unfolds in front of us, and from there you can see the peaks of Tufandag, Cumhuriyet, Ataturk and Bazaduzu. Time stops as we soak up the grandeur of the scene, imprinting every detail in our hearts.
Grateful and satisfied, we begin the descent, cherishing the memories of the top of Shahdag. This journey reminds us of the wonderful landscapes and indomitable spirit of the Azerbaijani mountains. Returning to the base camp, we will go back to Khinalig village by off-road vehicles, where our car will be waiting for you for a pleasant and safe return to Baku.

- Included: Permits from the State Border Service and the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, entrance tickets to the Shahdag National Park, certified mountain guides, comfortable transport with air conditioning and seat belts, 4x4 cars, tea during the tour.
- Excluded: Personal expenses, clothing, shoes, equipment and other personal items.
- Note: Obtaining permits from the State Border Service and the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan takes at least 8 days. In this regard, we urge you to provide a copy of your passport in advance. If you do not have clothes, shoes, equipment and other things you need for the trip, you can rent from us for an additional fee.
