At the foot of the Beshbarmag mountain there is a holy place "Pir Khidyr Zunja", where travelers stop for prayer and worship.
Your professional guide will tell you the mythical stories associated with this place.
The next point during the tour will be Krasnaya Sloboda, located in the city of Guba and which is one of the rare places of compact residence of Jews in Azerbaijan, therefore this settlement is also called the Jerusalem of the Caucasus. Mountain Jews have preserved their traditions for centuries and there are several synagogues, a museum, a cemetery, and a star of David on residential buildings.
Leaving the city of Guba along the course of the Gudialchay River, travelers get into one of the most beautiful forests of Azerbaijan. The highway passing through the deciduous forest is a grandiose green tunnel formed by the crowns of trees that converge at a height of two dozen meters. The entire forest road runs near a picturesque ravine through which a mountain river flows. The Gechresh forest got its name from the name of the village, which is located on its territory.
The oldest place in the territory of Azerbaijan in the geophysical sense is located between the Gechresh forest and the road to the village of Khinalyg. The majestic Gudialchay Gorge is several kilometers of high steep rocky mountains, between which the Gudialchay River boils. Along its powerful current, between steep cliffs hanging from both sides, there is a road along which it is interesting both to walk and to drive a car. Because of its impressive height, this gorge received the name Minaret from the local population.
On the territory of the Guba district, at an altitude of 2100 meters above sea level, there is an isolated village of Khinalyg, which will be the last point of visit during this tour. You will see not only the ancient architecture of this village, but also a breathtaking panorama of the peaks surrounding this village. And on the way to Khinalyg, you can often see eagles flying overhead, wild horses galloping along the banks of rocky rivers and clouds descending so low that sometimes you can even touch them.
After this amazing tour in Sheki, our professional team will take you back to the capital and leave you at your accommodation.
