On the second day, you will make an unforgettable journey through modern Baku, the beautiful capital of the Caucasus. You will visit the Alley of Honorary Burial and the grave of the legendary Muslim Magomayev, Uphill Park, from where you will have a view of the Flame Towers, Baku bay and the entire central part of the city, the Waterfront Park and mini Venice. You will pass by the Government House of Azerbaijan and visit the park in front of the Heydar Aliyev Center.
Later you will have lunch in the picturesque Old Garden restaurant in the Old Town. Lunch includes the national dish "Saj", which is cooked on coals, Old Garden salad, soft drinks and tea with sweets.
After lunch, the Old Town (Icherisheher) Tour will begin. With your professional English-speaking guide and his stories, you will see sights such as the Maiden's Tower, the ruins of the Chapel of St. Bartholomew, the hammam of Haji Baani, the caravanserais of Multani and Bukhara, the sailors house, the chained house, the Residence of the Baku Khans, the Double Gates of the Old City, the fortress walls, the Quadrangular Tower, the Aliaga Vahid monument, the Juma mosque, the Palace of Shirvanshahs, as well as the place where the fragment of the movie The Diamond Hand was shot, where Nikulin fell and loudly shouted “God damn it!”
The next day you will start the tour, the end point of which will be a view of the highest peak of the Caucasus on the territory of Azerbaijan. An hour and a half after leaving Baku, you will reach the first stop - Juma Mosque. The first mosque in the Caucasus, located in the city of Shamakhi, built in 743 AD. This architectural monument will amaze its visitors with both its facade and interior, as well as the ruins of an ancient madrasah (the first Islamic school in the region).
Our next stop is the Zernava Suspension Bridge, located along the fascinating Girdiman River. This iconic bridge with a length of 74 meters serves as a vital lifeline, connecting two majestic mountains and providing the only connection to the mainland for the residents of the village of Juhary Zernava. This is not only an important passage for locals, but also offers an exciting experience for tourists looking for adventure, igniting their senses with a rush of adrenaline. Get ready to be enchanted by the picturesque beauty and incredible sensations that await you on the Zernava Suspension Bridge.
Then lunch will be served in a restaurant in the forest zone of the city of Ismaili. Lunch includes first courses of your choice, mix of kebabs (lamb, lula, chicken, vegetables), pilaf, choban-salad, soft drinks and finally tea prepared in a samovar.
After lunch, our professional team will take you to Lake Nohur, which will appeal to nature lovers. This lake reflects the mountains of the Greater Caucasus in its green-blue waters. Also on the territory of the lake you can visit the shops with dried fruits, pestel, honey, oriental spices and local Lankaran tea.
And finally, the last stop will be the Tufandag Ski Resort, which is located in Gabala. Here, with the help of the cable car, you will rise to the top with a height of more than 2 thousand meters, from where you will have a view of the Bazarduzu peak.
In the end of Shamakhi and Gabala Tour, our professional team will transfer you to five star Shaki Palace hotel which is located in a historical center of Shaki city.
The next day, you will begin a Sheki Tour, and the first stop will be the ancient church located in the village of Kish - a place that was used for religious pagan rites from ancient times and later became one of the first Christian churches of Caucasian Albania.
The next stop on this tour will be the Palace of Sheki Khans, built in the 18th century. The windows of the palace represent the architectural style which is called shebeke, will amaze you with multi-colored glass embedded in the most complex ornaments, in the assembly of which no glue or nail was used.
On the great silk road connecting East Asia with the Mediterranean in antiquity and in the Middle Ages, there were caravanserais - guest houses for merchants. Feel like a traveler of the distant past, because the next stop will be the caravanserai in Sheki, built in the 17th century.
At the end of the tour you will go up to the Sheki park dedicated to War War II, where you can admire not only the magnificent memorial of the victory over fascism, but also you will enjoy a panoramic view of the entire ancient city of Sheki.
During this tour, you will also visit a number of old shops, where you can not only buy Sheki silk, souvenirs, dishes, jewelry and much more, but also taste Sheki sweets, which are famous not only for their unique taste, but also for their elegance. After all, these masterpieces of cookery are the work of entire generations of Sheki halva makers, transmitting the manufacturing technique for centuries.
After the tour you will have lunch and only in Sheki you will have the local traditional dish "Piti", prepared and served in special clay pots, as well as choban-salad and soft drinks.
After this amazing tour in Sheki, our professional team will take you back to the capital and leave you at your accommodation.
The next day, our guests can spend their time as they wish in the beautiful capital by the Caspian Sea, which has so much history and modernity, shopping centers, museums, cinemas, restaurants of national cuisine, night clubs and much more.
On the last day of this amazing journey, company representatives will wish you a good return home and take you to the airport.
