The Lahij Tour is a captivating journey through the picturesque landscapes of Azerbaijan, immersing travelers in the rich history, cultural heritage, and natural beauty of the region. This tour takes you from the ancient city of Shamakhi to the charming village of Lahij, offering a blend of historical sites, stunning mountain vistas, and traditional craftsmanship.

Qobustan city. The center of Gobustan district is the next stop, which is included in the Baku-Gabala tour package. Here guests will have an excursion to the place where a real miracle happened about a thousand years ago. The picturesque ravine, which is often called "Little Petra", is famous for the historical mausoleum "Diri Baba". It is visited not only by tourists, but also by pilgrims, since the mausoleum is an active religious building.
After the tour, the bus leaves the desert and goes to the territory of orchards and vineyards, to the temperate climatic zone, the neighboring Shamakhi city.

In Ismayilli, you will indulge in qutabs filled with fresh, locally sourced green herbs. Experience the vibrant flavors of the region in every bite of these aromatic and satisfying delights. While enjoying the qutabs, take in the charming beauty of Ismayilli's lush landscapes, dotted with rolling hills, vibrant meadows, and scenic forests, creating a truly unforgettable dining experience.

The next point will be the village of Lahij, the way to which lies through the forests and serpentine roads of the Caucasus Mountains. You will have the opportunity to see the breathtaking natural canyon, and you will also stop at the Zernava suspension bridge.

The particular architectural style of Lahij will undoubtedly stun you with its two-storey houses and cobbled streets stretching along the banks of the Girdiman River. Lahij is a real village of craftsmen and artisans who have preserved their traditions and technologies of working on non-ferrous metals (copper, bronze). The magnificent works of Lahij masters on copper vessels were exhibited at the World Exhibition in Vienna in 1873 (Weltausstellung 1873). Here, each quarter has its own unique mosque, which reinforces the impression of guests from the village.

Lunch in the Ismailli forest. An hour break in a cozy restaurant will bring the main gastronomic notes to Lahij tour. A three-course meal will end with a tea party, and fresh air saturated with oxygen will have a beneficial effect on digestion.
After replenishment of forces and rest, happy and satisfied, tourists return to Baku.
